- for the production of the nozzles we only use rust- and acid-resistant steel.

- Through the adjusted ruby insert the lifetime of the nozzle is a multiple in comparison to
  conventional nozzles.
- The ground in drill-holes of the rubies guarantee the most precise water jet which is possible
  today.
- As a seal O-Rings are used. The O-Rings are designed for multiple assembly and disassembly 
 and last to a pressure of 160 bar.
- The nozzles are screwed in the precisely fitting adapter.
- The filters have a thread-flange and are screwed from the back into the adapter.
- For cleaning the filter can be dismantled easily.
- All parts can be handled with metric Socket wrenches.

- We have a rigorous final quality check for all products and every single nozzle is tested
  intensively.

Gatewood has completed a comprehensive development program to perfect these nozzle designs and extensive testing has been done to insure a very effective and high quality product for our customers. The nozzles have stainless steel bodies and low friction precision ruby orifices. There is a rotating Teflon shield that extends over the outlet end of the nozzles that keeps any moisture or debris from interrupting the stream. The shield is cut at an angle and can be independently rotated to direct the moisture runoff drips to the waste side of the cut. Orifices are available in a large range of sizes: .010", .015", .020", .025", .030", .035", .040", .050" diameters. Our double 10-degree stream nozzle can be requested with two different size orifices.
