Simply loosen the clamping knob and remove the squirt tubes from the machine to make a nozzle change...then replace it to the exact same trimming location by utilizing the unique “double locking collar” system.

To decrease splashback on the trim nozzle, place it over a vacuum box. If you want a double stream nozzle to fit in the vacuum slot, use our parallel stream nozzle. The most common reason for trim nozzle failure is poor water quality. Proper water filtering is critical for optimum nozzle performance. The most effective trim nozzle set-up is realized by aiming the stream slightly toward the outside of the wire and slightly toward the dry end of the machine. To minimize sweating on the pipe, consider using trim water at stock temperature. Extreme care must be taken with application of teflon tape when changing a nozzle.To avoid plugging the small orifice with teflon tape, do not apply tape over the end of the last thread. Edge Trim Units
 

This radically new 4-axis Edge Trim Units with separated heights and longitudinal-adjustment allows to adjust the unit and to change the Trimnozzle within the runnig process without having production down times.
Especially in combination with the triple jet nozzles there is a outstanding flexibility in adjustment and optimal results with the edge-cut.
Like all LS-Systeme products the Edge Trim Unit is completely made out of rust- and acid-constant steel (DIN 1.4571).
